Brenda Behr holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and Master of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University in New York. She lived and worked in Minnesota while an advertising art director and graphic designer. After a succesesful 30 year career, she returned to the city of her youth, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Brenda works in watercolors and oils and much of her work is painted on location. She considers plein air painting to be the most challenging and evocative way to paint and she is seldom without her sketchbooks and paints. In addition to selling her plein air landscapes to collectors throughout the country, she also has a successful business Wedding Watercolors where she paints weddings and other events and celebrations live on site.
